Personal Assistant to the Minister & Trustees
PERSONAL ASSISTANT VACANCY
Part-time 16 hours per week with flexible working arrangements considered. 2 years fixed term with intent to make it a permanent contract.
Stony Stratford Community Church is a community-orientated church located in the north of Milton Keynes.

Our desire is to see the Kingdom of God established among us and through us as we learn to know and express the Father’s heart, follow Jesus Christ as His disciples and rely on the Holy Spirit for empowering. There is a full time Minister (Team Leader), part time Church Support Co-ordinator and a volunteer team of Elders, Trustees, leaders and members to fulfil that mission.
We are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to support the Minister and Trustees in the Ministry of the church. The role is varied and covers several key responsibilities detailed in the accompanying Job Description and Essential Skills documents.
Role Summary
• Primarily based on the church premises in a shared office space, with flexibility to work from home
• Personal Assistant to the Minister (Team Leader) with some responsibility to support the Elders and Trustees.
• Some requirement for evening work (in liaison with your line manager).
The successful applicant will be required to sympathise with the Values, Vision and Mission of the Church. An understanding of Baptist structures and ethos would be helpful.
Rate of Pay: £14-£17 per hour subject to qualifications and experience.
